Nadine Persaud
Nadine is a photographer and creative director originally from South East London. She has two young daughters, who endlessly inspire her in everything she does. They would say she spends too much time doing DIY and reframing art around their home, without ever actually putting it up on the walls. She loves to tell stories using images, inspired by those who are dedicated to their own passions and finding their own joy in this mad, mad world. She has worked mainly in the music industry and is fascinated by the relationship between music and visual art. She feels blessed to have forged a career that explores the ways in which the two art forms can marry to create a sense of belonging in those who engage with them.
Nadine has overseen the creative and marketing for musicians including Hak Baker, Laura Mvula, Paloma Faith and Barney Artist. Photography is her passion and has more recently become her focus, solidified by going back to study MA Documentary Photography at UAL in 2019 and gaining a distinction for her work on the impact of BLM during lockdown. Born in the UK to parents who immigrated from the Caribbean, she was proud to be involved in the Tilbury Walkway of Dreams project, the first photography installation dedicated to the Windrush generation at Tilbury Docks in Essex.
